Seychelles is the smallest country in Africa the archipelago consists of around 115 small islands in the Indian Ocean, known for their stunning beaches, coral reefs, and nature reserves. There are two main groups of islands, the central islands are called the Mahé group and there are about 40 of these. There are then 70 more flatter islands on the outside of this central group. Very few of these islands are inhabited, with the smaller, flatter islands only rising a few feet above sea level. The Mahe island is home to the world’s smallest capital city, Victoria with a population of 26,450 and it is one of the few islands that are inhabited.
