Kuwait means “fortress built near water” and although the country is mainly concrete and desert terrain, sending a parcel to Kuwait from the UK has never been easier. With an estimated 10% of the world’s total oil reserves, trade is booming in Kuwait and therefore increases the need for fast and secure delivery services.
When sending items to Kuwait, you can choose from FREE boxes provided by DHL. These can be collected from a DHL Service Point. When packaging your items, we advise that you pack them tightly to minimise movement which could cause damage. Please remember to not fully secure your box as DHL checks the contents for security reasons.
Costs to send a parcel to Kuwait can be checked by using our online quote tool. Or, if you are going to use a DHL Service Point you can view our size and price guide to compare prices depending on the size of the FREE packaging you require.
Even if you decide to deliver a parcel to Kuwait through our courier collection services, you can expect your parcel to arrive within 2-3 working days. To track a parcel you can use our online tool, phone or by text to see your parcels progress.
Alongside the prohibited items that DHL do not accept to be sent through the network, there are also additional items the Kuwait General Administration of Customs prohibit. These items include fresh vegetables, food prepared abroad, pork and meat products and politically subversive material. Please visit the Kuwait customs website for more information.
