My experience with DHL has been awful. Day 1: Despite staying in all day to receive the package it was not delivered and supposedly dropped off with a neighbour. No confirmation card through the door and at an address that isn't recognisable Day 2: Called to re-arrange pick-up and asked for them to call me before delivery. No call - I had arranged for my actual neighbours to be about to collect for me. Delivered to an address which is a significant distance from my property (why would you not try to deliver to my actual neighbour god only knows). Now I'm chasing around to try and get hold of the package. Can't fault the customer service on the phone but the actual courier service leaves a lot to be desired. Would avoid again at all costs!

This is a brilliant company had a parcel to go to Romania phoned them up everyone I spoke to were friendly and helpful paid over the phone they picked parcel up and it was delivered to Romania the next day. I would recommend this company to anyone well done DHL

Delivery turned up within the specified time with great thanks to the delivery driver who had to park an age away from my house as the address which may I add I called the customer service department the day before to alter as the address was incorrect even though she assured me it had been changed and I checked on web and it had...it was not on the delivery guys sheet and the telephone number was incorrect...that he said he'd called but it was invalid. The driver I hope gets praise from DHL as he said he nearly gave up but didn't. I am very grateful to him. The lady on the phone was lovely but DHL you need to sort out your communication verbally and written down

Absolute load of rubbish, have waited in 2 days for collection made 5 phone calls and still waiting for my parcel to be collected.

I was called on the day after placing my order to say that I had exceeded the cut of time for collection and therefore my Parcel would be collected before 12.00 the following day. My Dog needed to see a vet so I booked the appointment for 2.40. At 1.00 rang DHL who said my parcel would be collected by 2.30 and that they had rang the driver to say I would be out from 2.30 - 3.00. The driver turned up at 2.45. I then had to ring DHL again to arrange a collection and was told 10 - 12 the next working day. When there was no collection at 1.00, I rang back and they said it was between 10 - 2.00. With no collection at 3.30 rang DHL back who rang the courier and then after waiting the phone got cut off. I can not be bothered to speak to them any more. Absolute worst logistics ever, seriously if we all did our jobs in this manner then there would be serious problems... Go DHL you are a waste of space would never use you agin or recommend you to anyone. And you have to rate them before submitting review... Brilliant.

Had a delivery due on the 2nd August . I was at work and was unable to take delivery of the goods and they had to be signed for by a member of the household which it was addressed to, it couldn’t be left with a neighbour either as of the nature of the goods . The delivery chap called Gavin from the Hoyland depot phoned me and said he would carry on with his deliveries else where and come back and delivery to me later even though this meant going out of his way . I can honestly say I have never come across a delivery person that has done this and I am very grateful and happy that there are still nice people out there that go above and beyond. Thank you very much Gavin (Hoyland depot ) a very nice chap indeed . DHL are lucky to have you 👍👍👍.

STAFF VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND NEED TRAINING

I was trying to send 6 cartons to my son-in-law via his company account with DHL. I took the packaged to OFFICE OUTLET their "service point" in PRESTON. No one knew what to do. Finally when I got someone senior, he was rude and obnoxious. Treated me as if I was ignorant. Made me feel very unwelcome and would not even let me finish a single sentence. When I asked him to help find where I could get more help as the system they had would not allow to open any accounts other than service point account. Told me it was my job to find out where the DHL office was and he was not willing to be of any service or help. I have never been treated this way and being a customer and account holder I feel it is a shame that DHL do not train their staff in management and how to even talk to people. I guess part of it shows your upbringing and education. I am very disappointed and felt this needs improvement. If anything I am a paying customer and the my son in laws business gives DHL thousands of pounds worth of business and deserve a little courtesy. In the end never sent the packages via DHL.
