fantastic service from the customer services dept. spoke to a woman called Saffron this morning just to see if I could get my parcel re delivered to my work address as had mistakenly put my home address on and so she rang the courier while I was on the phone and said he would try to do this for me but if not did explain fully what else I should do but within the hour he came and delivered it to my office no problem or faffle at all really really impressed at your brilliant service and promise cannot thank you enough DHL

I was really impressed by the service as the call centre staff was very helpful and I would sepcially like to thank the driver who rang me for the parcel as they were very important documents and I needed them urgently. I didnt get chance to get his name but i would like the company on my behalf to say big thank you to him. I would recommend dhl to all my family and friends.

The service from DHL exceeded my expectations, my parcel was left at your Sheffield Service Point at 15:00hrs on Monday and was delivered to mid Texas USA at 10:00hrs on Wednesday, fantastic well done DHL. I must praise the staff at your Sheffield Service Point who were very friendly and accommodating who after inspecting the contents of my box allowed time for me to gift wrap some items before sealing the box. Finally, I must comment on your fixed price box system which I found excellent and wow the boxes are free, no more trying to find suitable boxes and taping them together. James Ronksley January 2016

DHL have been great. I am not always in or I don't always here the bell and today, instead of leaving a card in my outside postbox, DHL delivery came back to see if I was in to receive my package. It now means I have another day to utilise the item that I was waiting for. Thank you DHL. I really appreciate it.

It was during Christmas period when I was rushing my order to reach its destination Botswana on time. The whole shipping process took longer than normal as it was festive season. But that's not the point I want to express here. I have been using DHl in Edinburgh for over 3 years and their service is flawless and there is one employee called KUBA he surprises me all the time as he is devoted to his work and he will call if running late or ask if there is anyone home for delivery. I will continue using DHl as their service is fast and secure. I really feel comfortable with with their service.

This is actually the second time this has happened, but I would get excited tracking my parcel and don't get me wrong the whole process is rapid which is a great thing. However when it comes to the time when they are actually delivering it to my door...they don't! Like I said before this is the second time they have supposedly came to my door but never knocked because they didn't know if it was the right address. Both times the parcels have gone to the local service point, but when you can't drive and when you are busy with day to day things to get it redelivered its hard and time consuming and i'm really disappointed that it has happened twice. Had trouble with customer service. Had to ring 3/4 times in order to actually know what was going on with my parcel, but a lovely English advisor took over the line and helped me on the whereabouts of my parcel and my address for the postman to redeliver to.

This is a copy of my Trustpilot review .... In contrast to other reviewers, I have been massively impressed by DHL's systems and service. A musical instrument I ordered was picked up on January 5th in Florida and was safely delivered to my house in Yorkshire on January 7th. Their online system whereby you can opt to receive email notifications of as many stages of the shipping process as you want worked flawlessly. I encountered only one annoying hiccup and that was the failure of our 'phone to receive advance notice of the amount that had to be paid for VAT as part of the import process. I eventually got the message via the BT voicemail system but then found that DHL's epayment system on their website just would not accept payment via Mastercard. I had five failures before switching to payment by Visa and that worked 1st time. Their 'Live Chat' system worked very well and did help. (Thanks to Sumesh and Karthik for their patience). So ... as far as DHL's shipping systems and timings went, I would award 5 stars, but I'm knocking it back to 4 because of the other hassles I encountered. The one option that would be very useful would be for a notification of the day of delivery of a rough estimate for arrival. The system used by DPD would be an ideal model for this if it could be implemented.
