Ryan and Lee telephoned 10 minutes before arriving and confirmed they would be meeting the prearranged delivery slot. The kitchen delivery comprised approximately 90 items which had to be carried up stairs to a 4th floor apartment. Lee and Ryan were fantastic and unlike previous delivery personnel made no complaint or quoted how they were not supposed to go up more than a certain number of steps. They were courteous and good humoured. Both worked extremely hard and are a credit to DHL and the Wickes brand.

I sent a package to China and it arrived within an impressive 3 days! Unfortunately the receiver could not pay the duty tax, (fair warning to those who want to send luxury items or electronics overseas) therefore it had to be returned. To cut the dullness out of the story, I had to leave the UK in one week and was lucky enough to speak with David (66983) - who handled the return of my package on the UK side. David went above and beyond to ensure that I was reassured - even following my request to reply to my e-mails, which (I was told) extends beyond the usual DHL customer services. Within the end of the week I had gotten my package back. A well as his professionalism, David was very bright and cheerful which helped dispel the niggling thought of "Oh no, my package is doomed to be lost in the deep, dark depths of a foreign warehouse." - a true sender's nightmare. In the end, everything turned out fine and I am very impressed with DHL's team of knowledgeable and helpful professionals at the contact center. I would also like to thank James and Sophie from the DHL UK Contact Center, DHL China and the team of couriers who have all worked together to ensure the safe and speedy return of my package! Thanks DHL for the truly 5 star professional courier service!

Ordered packet from England on my name and contacted DHL that there is another name on ring because I'm not only one living in apartment. Then I even selected on internet before the packet actually came option to leave it at neighbor with the name stated on ring. On Saturday I should receive the packet I got and email that packet was not delivered because there is not my name on the ring so I immediately contacted DHL by phone and I was told that they will try to deliver it on Monday. I also send one more email to customer service just to be sure. On Monday I got answer that they already send the packet back without even another try to deliver it. Even if they had my phone number I didn't get any calls when they had problems to find it. Really unprofessional and bad work from DHL. Worst service ever!

Usual rough night and awful coffee to recover when parcel interrupted my feeling sorry for myself. Driver was so smart and cheerful he made me feel better and the rest of the day I was in an unusually good mood. Thank you. Contrast that with some of the unmarked wrecks and dishevelled drivers from other delivery firms. The feeling they leave with me the customer is incomparable.

I ordered an item (Which was in France) on line in the afternoon and it arrived in chichester before 11am the next day. The tracking was excellent and detailed, and the delivery driver smart, polite and curteous, everything that you would want an organisation to be. Excellent service all round.

I've had a parcel sent from Austria. It departed the country yesterday and I've been tracking it all the way. This afternoon the latest update was that it's out for delivery. Shockingly fast service! Unfortunately received a message saying that the driver attempted to deliver - no one home. This happened 15 minutes ago. I've been home all day and felt a little upset. I called the customer service team right away and explained the situation. The lovely lady called the courier and I was shocked again when she informed me that the driver is coming back to deliver my parcel. Just signed for my parcel! This is above and beyond service and great customer support. I really appreciate it, hence why leaving this review. DHL you have been absolutely fantastic and I thank you for that.

I would like to express on behalf of research team at our University my greatest gratitude and admiration to customer service supervisor Yulia Zasimovich (DHL Express Belarus) for the professionalism and readiness to help. Also many thanks to the DHL for high level of service, speed of delivery, affordability and information support from A to Z. 48 hours transportation of dangerous goods (24 hour delay solely because of customs clearance) from Belarus to the United Kingdom.
