I have used post office to send parcels to Tunisia and it takes a long time and is very expensive. I was going to try FedEx but the Tunisian custom officer said not to bother as FedEx caused them huge problems, and that in fact the best system was DHL as they had agreements with them. So I did. Parcel got picked up from my home in Cheshire in the morning, and the parcel arrived in Tunis the following day. Recipient was able to pick up the parcel, the next day. This is BY FAR the best courier service I have used and will from now on continue to use DHL. I will try it out for upcoming parcels to Florida and Los Angeles, as this has also been a challenge with FedEx (they opened all my Christmas presents by ripping up the wrapping paper! And that happened several times, just ruined the presents under the guise of 'security' when it was clear presents were chocolates and clothes and such things).

What started off as a complaint definitely did a 360 and I can't explain how grateful and impressed I am at how Gary (general manager for Exeter depot) and Karl Jennings (driver) went above and beyond to make sure I received my parcel this evening, even Karl coming out when his shift had finished. Cant thank them both enough. Please pass on my thanks

DHL have gone above and beyond what i have come to expect from couriers (admittedly a low bar). They have assisted in a parcel re-direct efficiently and sensibly. Their call centre answered the phone promptly, the depot called me to confirm details and update on progress. They took initiative in getting authorisation from the seller for a re-direct and everything was resolved in 24 hours.
