I was initially very dubious about sending my passport from South Africa to Uk for renewal. However I was promised in my local DHL collection office, that it was safe and tracked, and would be delivered by 18/1/21. It has arrived in Durham, and been signed for, just 2 days after mailing from Cape Town, and three days earlier than promised.
An excellent service all round, with superb online tracking for the entire journey. Well done DHL.

Star rating is for DHL not WHS! The Box 3 provided at WHS Ely was printed with max weight 2kg. Unfortunately, dhl web had said 3kg so I had carefully weighed to that max. Am I going to be charged excess? Was this old stock of box? It was smaller than measurements given on web as I had cut a box to exact measurements and had needed padding!
Also, staff at this branch unhelpful. Will go to another WHS branch next time.

Website information about depot incorrect
Booked a delivery to drop off at depot.
Website stated that the depot is open today (Saturday) 08:00-12:00.
Arrived at 11:35. Rang the intercom, no answer.

Booked a delivery to drop off at depot.
Website stated that the depot is open today (Saturday) 08:00-12:00.
Arrived at 11:35. Rang the intercom, no answer.
Rang the customer information number, was politely informaed that the website had not been updated and infact the depot was closed this Saturday.
Was awasted trip to the depot and the delivery will not be with my customer on Monday.
Not impressed.

Our daughters arranged deliveries of parcels after last minute changes to xmas plans because of lockdown restrictions. We did the same after they told us about the company. So collections and deliveries went according to plan. Our granddaughters have received their presents ready for the big day.
So pleased.

I paid extra for an urgent collection and delivery. The day DHL was supposed to collect, they sent me a text noting the time they would come by. I waited by the door for the collection to arrive, but they never came. I didn't even get a text or follow-up email saying they'd be late or weren't planning on coming. It's one thing to just be unreliable, but in 2020, I think it's quite unacceptable to not be able to give timely updates on whether you are actually able to provide your service (and thus wasting my day where I had to stay at home to wait).

My packages arrived Lagos since 21/12/20, and it's been on hold till now , no contact by DHL to say what the duty is, and I have been calling the customer service and nothing is coming up positive and I have tried to reach the DHL department that deals with custom and duty and they are cutting off my calls, I am frustrated because this a gift that's meant for 25/12/20, if it's not delivered tomorrow, the purpose of sending it by DHL is defeated.
