I have had parcels sent from UK to Peru. The latest had no tracking information updated and until the driver arrived at the door, as far as I knew it was stuck in Heathrow. Then the driver demanded the PEN equivalent of €10 because, as of the start of the year, they are charging this on all imports. WHY? I paid for door-to-door service; why do I have to pay for this again???? There were no customs duties to pay/administer, nothing other than the absolute minimum. Did someone decide that profits are down due to Covid, so the solution is to shakedown the customers? We are all suffering, but it is temporary; this comes across as spraying us with contempt.

My girlfriend and I were lucky enough to have one of your absolute GENTLEMAN hero delivery men visit us today. He was clearly outrageously busy but was nice enough to spend some time to have a socially distanced chat as he dropped off a package. He was truly polite and gave us an insight into just how HARD he is working to bring people their deliveries. He really cheered us up and if I could I would have shook his hand. I saluted him as he dashed off to finish another long day. I didn't get his name, but please pass on my comments. He should be congratulated! He GENUINELY made our day. I was advised that my parcel would be with me on Monday 25 but came today Friday 21st The driver came two hours before time and 3 days early well done dhl excellent service

WONDERFUL STAFF

I was initially very dubious about sending my passport from South Africa to Uk for renewal. However I was promised in my local DHL collection office, that it was safe and tracked, and would be delivered by 18/1/21. It has arrived in Durham, and been signed for, just 2 days after mailing from Cape Town, and three days earlier than promised. An excellent service all round, with superb online tracking for the entire journey. Well done DHL.

Essan was very kind to try and deliver my parcel once when I wasn’t home and again later in the day. Also called and texted a couple of times to see if I was in. really nice guy and I so appreciated him going to the extra effort. Absolutely would recommend.

No visibility of pricing scheme. I am trying to know what it costs so I can decide how much I can put in parcel till the next price bracket - very annoying

Star rating is for DHL not WHS! The Box 3 provided at WHS Ely was printed with max weight 2kg. Unfortunately, dhl web had said 3kg so I had carefully weighed to that max. Am I going to be charged excess? Was this old stock of box? It was smaller than measurements given on web as I had cut a box to exact measurements and had needed padding! Also, staff at this branch unhelpful. Will go to another WHS branch next time.

Booked a delivery to drop off at depot. Website stated that the depot is open today (Saturday) 08:00-12:00. Arrived at 11:35. Rang the intercom, no answer. Rang the customer information number, was politely informaed that the website had not been updated and infact the depot was closed this Saturday. Was awasted trip to the depot and the delivery will not be with my customer on Monday. Not impressed.
