Season 2 of The Grand Tour is revving up to start 8 December, and DHL is giving you the chance to win tickets to the show! If you’re a resident of Great Britain, you could be the lucky winner of 2 tickets to join the audience in the famous Grand Tour studio tent to see the live show.
The first season was a great success, thanks in no small part to DHL’s involvement. The global logistics specialist ensured transportation of everything needed for the show – from the giant 35-ton tent to Jeremy Clarkson’s extra long jeans. The structure was so big it took three days to erect. The tent, that is.
“We’re delighted to let professionals like DHL do the heavy lifting. Literally.”
Andy Wilman, The Grand Tour Executive Producer
With a further 7 tons of lighting, sound and camera equipment to ship, The Grand Tour needed DHL’s expertise in getting unusual items to locations around the globe.
And what spectacular locations they were. The Cradle of Humankind in South Africa. Ludwigsburg Palace in Germany. Whitby Harbour in North Yorkshire. Wherever The Grand Tour pitched up, DHL made sure the tent, and the jeans, were there on time, every time.
This season the tent is staying put in the Cotswolds. But the series still promises yet more monkey business from the boys, with fast cars, exotic landscapes and an obligatory crash by Richard Hammond. What more could you want?
So come along and be part of the mayhem!
