Sending Christmas gifts?

  • At this time of year, we see an increase in prohibited items such as cash, perfume and aftershave, battery packs and Christmas crackers. Please check what you can and can’t send as parcels containing prohibited items will be stopped. When a parcel is stopped, it will be held for collection at your local DHL Service Centre.
  • In line with UK Aviation Security regulations, wrapped gifts will be opened for inspection by a qualified DHL employee and then resealed as carefully as possible.

* All dates are DHL recommended dates but deliveries are NOT guaranteed and are subject to DHL’s Standard Terms and Conditions of Carriage which are available at If you are dropping off at a DHL Service Point, please note that our transit times apply from the day the courier collects from the DHL Service Point and the latest drop off times are available in store. Deliveries to remote destinations may take longer.

**Calls to DHL UK phone numbers beginning ‘084’ cost 7 pence per minute, plus your phone company’s access charge
