Fast, but no delivery
This is actually the second time this has happened, but I would get excited tracking my parcel and don't get me wrong the whole process is rapid which is a great thing. However when it comes to the time when they are actually delivering it to my door...they don't! Like I said before this is the second time they have supposedly came to my door but never knocked because they didn't know if it was the right address. Both times the parcels have gone to the local service point, but when you can't drive and when you are busy with day to day things to get it redelivered its hard and time consuming and i'm really disappointed that it has happened twice.
Had trouble with customer service. Had to ring 3/4 times in order to actually know what was going on with my parcel, but a lovely English advisor took over the line and helped me on the whereabouts of my parcel and my address for the postman to redeliver to.

In contrast to other reviewers, I have been massively impressed by DHL's systems and service. A musical instrument I ordered was picked up on January 5th in Florida and was safely delivered to my house in Yorkshire on January 7th. Their online system whereby you can opt to receive email notifications of as many stages of the shipping process as you want worked flawlessly. I encountered only one annoying hiccup and that was the failure of our 'phone to receive advance notice of the amount that had to be paid for VAT as part of the import process. I eventually got the message via the BT voicemail system but then found that DHL's epayment system on their website just would not accept payment via Mastercard. I had five failures before switching to payment by Visa and that worked 1st time. Their 'Live Chat' system worked very well and did help. (Thanks to Sumesh and Karthik for their patience). So ... as far as DHL's shipping systems and timings went, I would award 5 stars, but I'm knocking it back to 4 because of the other hassles I encountered. The one option that would be very useful would be for a notification of the day of delivery of a rough estimate for arrival. The system used by DPD would be an ideal model for this if it could be implemented.

Horrible customer service, does anybody at DHL care?
I sent a package from Manila to London last Dec 17. 2015 It never got there. I have been waiting for feedback from both London and Manila on my sent parcel. Wrote a note to the Philippine country head, head of customer relations, was promptly referred by them to rep. who could not fix my problem in the first place, thus my writing them. E-mailed the U.K. office who never returned my concerns. Despite numerous calls to your Manila office, they say London will resolve the problem.
Same story every day. Can someone from your organization take ownership of this issue?
Or does my package end up like Amelia Earhart, a mystery for the ages?

Excellent delivery service from Hong Kong to Mid-Wales UK in 3 days
My Package was picked up by DHL in Hong Kong on Saturday 02nd Jan 2016 at 19:22 and it was in Leipzig, Germany on Sunday 03rd Jan for just 3 mins. Departed Leipzig 16:17 arriving at East Midlands Airport at 17:02. Departed East Midlands facility on Monday 04th January at 03:44 for delivery.
Arrived 11:56 am on Monday 04th January.
Wow DHL!! what an amazing Courier service.
I am writing this review further to my previous one about my parcel not being delivered despite me being in. Clearly upon making this review DHL were quick to contact the driver to get my parcel re-delivered later in the day instead of having to wait until tomorrow.
This demonstrates a company that is incredibly efficient in the way it works and listens to its customers. I would without a doubt recommend this company in future. No other delivery service is as quick to react to a complaint by dealing with it on the day.

Excellent delivery service from Hong Kong to Inverness in 2 days
Ordered a camera for christmas did not know it would be shipped by online company from Hong Kong, ordered it close to christmas, feared it would not arrive in time. Parcel left Hong Kong on 22/12 and I picked it up at DHL Inverness depot, Scotland at 11:03am on 24/12. Many thanks to all at DHL from Hong Kong to Inverness. Brilliant service. Kept up to date with parcel progress.
I ordered a parcel from the states and was estimated 5-10 working days for shipping to the UK. Parcel arrived in 3 working days!!!
Not only that but i was kept informed of each milestone on the way via email and text. Couldn't ask for anything more really. Brilliant customer service. Would recommend in a heartbeat.
