24 Hours UK to Italy
I used royal mail to send parcels to our friends in Italy, and could not believe that on one occassion it took almost 3 weeks to arrive at its destination. The issue is actually with the Italian mail system
and not royal mail, to be fair.
As this is totally unaceptable I thought I would give a private courier the chance of sending my next consignment. Took my parcel to a local hub on Friday afternoon, i was amazed to hear that it was received on the following Monday. Royal mail you are now dumped, DHL charge significantly more for the service (£30 against £12 royal mail) but not prohibitaly more.
Gave DHL another parcel on Monday afternoon, just some xmas prezzies. Could not believe I got
a phone call the very next from the person I sent them to, stating they had been received.
I dont think it would be humanly possible to make a delivery any quicker.
Pleasant and helpful staff, very well done DHL, I am very much impressed.
Excellent service received when booking in my parcel that went South Africa on Saturday morning, a worm welcome from staff and very helpful. I will recommend that your service to anyone who has items to send anywhere.

Today i took a shoe box for delivery to Malawi to your depot in Exeter for my grandson who went to Malawi last July with is school,he raise money by given a speech of his experience.
I was met by Laura Parker Jackson and was told would have to unpack to check contents & put into one of your boxes,she went out of her way of unwrapping & wrapping up presents,she was under pressure at the time but give me excellent service.Well done Laura & many thanks.

Great Customer Service
Never thought I'd write a review about a delivery service, but the customer service I received went above and beyond my expectations. I received an errant text message from DHL saying my package had been delivered and Karen quickly found that it had not even been sent to the station yet and released the signature for me so I didn't have to be there to sign for it. Friendly, helpful, and efficient! I hope her manager sees this!
I was overseas when the first two attempts were made to deliver my iPhone. Thankfully Emma (DHL LGW) contacted me to rearrange the third drop by email.
She keep me updated of the progress of my parcel ever step of the way and was very helpful when I even had to rearrange the delivery date twice. She emailed me on the day with an indication of morning/afternoon and later with a hour band estimate which turned out to be spot on. Thank you very much.

We called DHL for help we needed to send a parcel to Japan , they were the only ones who could send it for us, due to the nature of the parcel , having a lithium battery with in the item it was proving difficult to send, The delivery guy was amazing, he was very informative and explained how the system works, we tracked our parcel every day , and today it arrived at its destination yay! So we will be recommending DHL to every one, Great service and one we will be using again. Thank you ..
It's the little things that make a big difference
I had an incident where someone at my work place misplaced the package on the wrong shelf and ultimately caused the package to not get picked up correctly or on time. I was running around town looking for a place to accept it until I went to the Riverview location where a young guy by the name of Luis Ceron saw me and asked me if he could help. I then explained the situation and he told he would be able to take the package. I'm not saying it was a huge deal but it was definitely helpful and the fact that he was willing to help me and basically solve my issue is a big deal for me. Thanks to him the package got there on time, I didn't get in trouble and things are as they should be. Thanks again man, I owe you one!
